Crazy Al (Al Christeleit)

Al Christeleit, known as Crazy Al, was born in New Jersey and now resides in Colorado. His experience with pigeons
began with fancy pigeons. In the early 90's he became interested in racing pigeons. He traveled to Belgium
countless times and has bought some of the top pigeons ever to come to America.
Crazy Al has been in business all his life. He was the youngest supervisor at the Ford Motor Company and was a General
Forman at Strict Trailers. He was a General Manager of Auto Body and Paint Shop at Havell Motors.
Crazy Al moved to Colorado in 1980 and opened his own business, Crazy Al's Gypsum Auto Body and Frame. He is a 32nd Degree Freemason and Shriner.
Crazy Al has been very involved in the pigeon racing sport. He was president of the Mount Sopris RPC, he was a past combine Race Secretary and served on the ARPU speakers' Bureau. He is also a recipient of the AU Legend of the Sport Award in 2011. And lastly, He was the president of the Grand Junction RPC, which received the AU Publicity Award.
As AU Executive Vice President, Crazy Al's focus will be improving and increasing AU Membership. He believes sport education and sport promotions can bring new members to the AU. He believes bringing a business approach to the Board will ensure issues are addressed thoroughly and in a professional manner.
