Martha Stork
For the office of AU Pacific Mountain Zone Director
Martha lives in Southern California, is married with one son. She retired after 30+ years with Riverside County's Economic Development Agency as Program Monitor. She continues to collaborate with her son, Bobby, in a thriving white dove business. She and her husband, Darwin, also rescue dogs and love to fish. Martha has a passion for animals and works with local rescues for dog placement and is on a call list for lost birds.
Martha has been racing pigeon since 2005. She competed in male dominated competitions, winning Overall Average Speed in 2009 and 2010. She held the position of President of the 395 Combine for three years. She has been Race Secretary for the Y2K Race Club for the past 15 years, presently under the Southern California Invitational Combine. The Combine she and a good friend developed five years ago with the support of local flyers and clubs.
Martha affords time for anyone interested in flying and helps to support their success in racing. This includes raising youngsters, moving lofts, setting up and training birds for local flyers, much of which is done with the support and labor of her husband.
If elected, Martha will continue to mentor local flyers. She will ensure AU Pacific Zone members maintain a connection with AU and are made aware of all matters which pertain to the organization, racing or any thoughts, ideas or questions they may have regarding the AU.
